ACA: Our Guiding Principles
The goal with this video is to do more than check a box during orientation. This is meant to frame how people see their work here and understand why the Guiding Principles are more than a poster on the wall. If we want people to succeed at ACA, this is the mindset they need to walk in with. That’s the bar we were aiming for.
My role(s): Director, Scriptwriter, Storyboarder, Cinematographer, Editor
Business Value: $70,000

At first, the plan was to just ask employees unscripted questions on camera. Instead, I pitched a stronger direction, one that focused on thoughtful writing, pacing, and structure. I storyboarded the whole thing, wrote the script myself, and shaped the message to feel clear, vibrant, and intentional.

Direction and Leadership
I directed this project from start to finish. That included leading all production meetings, managing the schedule, and making sure every piece stayed aligned with the bigger vision. I was responsible for casting, location scouting, and overseeing the full shoot. Every camera setup, lighting choice, and line delivery ran through me. I kept things on track and pushed for quality at every step.

Scriptwriting and Storyboarding
I wrote the full script to make sure the language was intentional, clear, and actually meaningful. I didn’t want vague answers or corporate fluff. After locking the script, I storyboarded each sequence to match the tone we wanted to hit: bright, warm, and open. The storyboards helped guide the flow of the scenes and gave the team a solid roadmap before we even picked up a camera.

Art Direction
We wanted this to look and feel completely different from the previous version. I made specific choices around color, pacing, and music to keep things energetic and human. Every scene was intentionally lit, and we used a multicam setup to get the best angles without losing momentum.
The Most Important Part: Collaboration
While I led the creative side, this was a team effort across HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership. We had input from senior HR managers, feedback from the Chief of HR, and buy-in from the CEO. Everyone played a part in shaping what this video became. My job was to take all of that input and turn it into something coherent, thoughtful, and visually strong.
