The Thought Process
Research was key in shaping the painting’s story and design. I explored sci-fi lore, drawing from classic armor styles while giving them a worn, realistic feel. The white armor, streaked with rust, was chosen to reflect the passage of time and the wear of many battles, a visual marker of the character's journey and resilience.
